grateful

I just really need to blog about how THANKFUL I am today.

My life is not any easier, with two "teenage" girls in my house.

One thing I never thought about is how expensive it is to feed two kids. I guess, that's a throw back to growing up almost rich (of course, I didn't realize that until I became poor! Lol) But, my cable and internet have been recently cut off, and I've still skipped a couple of meals, so the girls could be well-fed.

There's a lot more housework, to. We have double the dishes, and double the laundry. They can't keep their room clean, to save their life.

Suddenly, my days are so much shorter. The kids come home from school, and there's snacks, homework, cleaning, dinner and showers. No one can do ANYTHING without my help!

My phone is constantly going off. There are alarms set to wake up (at 5AM! ), take my meds, take their meds, etc. There is a funny one I will blog about later!

The girls are constantly fighting. About half of the fights are over who I love more~ if one gets an extra hug, five minutes of alone time with me, or ten minutes of extra help with their homework.

I wake up every morning grateful. I love them so much! They are the best things that ever happened to me!

Lol! My oldest SD is 14 going on 4 (still has a crying fit if she goes to a sleepover and forgets her blanket!) Youngest is 12 going on 20! They can definitely be horrible!
