Ok so by now we all know BM is looney. Well the SDs have been back for almost a week. This is their full time home. And DH and I noticed something last night. Maybe I've been cracking up with everything else going on BUT the SDs ask permission to do ANYTHING. Can I get a drink of water? Can I have Ice in my water? Can I go outside and play? Can I take a shower? Can I go to the bathroom? Yes they asked permission to go to the bathroom! DH asked them about it last night and apparently BM makes them ask to do anything that requires leaving her sight. DH and I told the kids "look the ONLY thing you need to ask permission to do is: go to a friends house, call a friend, for a snack, or for a soda. You DON'T need to ask to go outside, shower, read a book or go to the bathroom. If you go outside just let someone know 'hey I'm going outside' its not that big of a deal" and on top of this as usual BOTH girls came back and their language skills have regressed at least three grade levels. I swear BM is as crazy as a shithouse mouse. DH said she's really gone batty, and if she is that worried the kids are going to plot against her, she HAS lost her marbles.....
