so who will you be with when the world ends????Hypothetically

So I read this article about the end of the world coming in December. Something about the 112th pope and Nostradamus Prophesies blah blah. Not saying I believed it but it got me thinking. End of the world hits where will you be and who will you be with??? I know in the past( before I was around but he was dating someone else at the time)during big storms BM would freak out and call DH to come over to “calm SD down” (BS) So say the world ends I know that DH would want to be with all his kids and I am sure BM would want to be with them too and DH would be the 1st person she would turn to. So I get to be with BM if the world ends Sad in the next 10 years or so…… This also reminds me of the movie 2012. Guess what happens to the step parent in that movie???…YEP he DIES trying to save his wife her kids, and his wife’s ex-husband. Then the parents gets saved and they live happily ever after….GAG me !!!!!! now I think I need a drink after that thought. I think i think too much sometimes. So praying these prophecies not coming true like all the others in the past!!!!!!

If my DH does such a thing, fine. Hey, believe me I get you. I have thought of the same crap for years. Honestly, I do believe MANY OF US have made a huge mistake by marrying someone with kids. OK, some may argue, but the fact remains that you hardly see other women with the stress we have...freaking women who have never been divorced bitch about anything...

Anyway, if the world comes to and end and my DH decides to run to his loser's side, good, fine...at least I will know at the end that I don't ahve to deal with their crap.

I'm going to be with my kids I really don't care if SO is there or runs to his kids. Me and mine already have a plan no apocalypse is taking us down! Really when it's all said and done I'd hold and comfort a stranger if needed just because I'm okay with death other's aren't

Lmao@dtzy that sounds like a plan!

I'm certain DH would want to be with SD's but they live 4 1/2 hrs away, and if they r with BM then there's no way in hell he'd be there. Since pretty much all his immediate family and all my immediate family live within 20 min of each other I guess we'd all hole up together, and if its the end of the world might as well get hammered I guess. Auugh terrible thought tho!

Lol. DH and our kid.

If the world is being destroyed with no chance of survival, we'd just sit there and try to come to acceptance amd love each other and make sure everyone knows it.

If there is a chance of survival...

My plan is that I would run a self sustaining brothel (not forcing women but if they are okay with it and want to survive this way), gambling, liquor making town/compound, with our martial arts students as our soldiers/bodyguards. I have this exact compound in our neighborhood (it's actually a church... I think) that would be perfect for it. And we will grow our own food so we can survive and maybe sell it later.

I'd be a badass crime boss who protects my people and rules fairly and justly to help everyone survive. DH thinks that's immoral and stupid and he thinks we'll be overtaken since there will be raids and stuff and we should just hide in the woods, but at the end of civilization, sex, booze, and gambling are the basest of currencies.

Besides, I didn't spend my teen years beating the hell out of Civ 4 to sit back and hide--I'd be slowly recreating the world.
