Eyelashes and selfies...that was the theme of DH's trip with SD

Whew..by the end of 4 days DH was way over the eyelashes and selfies.

Quotes  "she takes an hour or more in the morning to get ready and that doesn't include a shower"

"I'm so tired of hearing about her mouth is not perfectly symetrical.  It  goes down more one side and how horrible that is"

"Every 5 seconds she take a selfie..how many damn pictures does she need of herself"

Ah..Halo was chuckling to herself over all of this.

The best part...

They were flying back out of a busy af major city airport.  DH was trying to figure out which security line he needed to get into and looked back and SD was on her phone.  He told her to get off the ***insert a crap ton of curse words here** and pay attention and get through security.  When they are done..she can get back on her **insert curse words here*** phone.

SD's response..

'BUT ITS MOMMMMMMMMMMMM AND SHE NEEDS MY FLIGHT INFO"

This is where DH lost his mind and yelled at SD in the middle of the busy af airport..

SD I DON'T GIVE F*CK IF ITS THE G*D D*MN POPE..PUT THE PHONE AWAY AND GET THROUGH SECURITY.  YOUR MOTHER HAD ALL THE G*D D*MN FLIGHT INFO ALREADY.  SHE CAN WAIT TILL WE GET THROUGH SECURITY.

SD then decided it would be a good time to cop an attitude.....mmm..not a wise choice their SD.  Whew DH was pissed when they got the gate and took SD's phone.  DH called me while SD was waiting for her food in the airport....proved my point that Beaver always has to inject herself into everything..and SD has been conditioned she MUST ANSWER THE BEAVER CALL IMMEDIATELY.

Oh...thank the lord I was not there...I wouldn't have yelled at SD..but simply walked over and took the phone. But I guess that is why my kids  are way better behaved and would know better than to be on the phone to begin with.

DH had a good time with SD..but it was eye opening for him on just how much emphasis SD puts on her looks over evyerthing else.

That all you can do is chuckle (at his expense), and shrug when he gets home. Because thats what he signed up for...

Its good that they "had this time together" Lol.  Our late BM used to do this, too, had to know where the kids were every minute, you know, in case of emergency.   I never undetstood that, she was even doing that when they became adults.  Weird.
