The step kids are here for spring break. When DH brought them to the house they walked in and breezed by me ignoring me when I said hi to them. Except for SS7 who ran to me and gave me a big hug. The three teenage SDs continued to ignore me when I pointed out that I bought them some snacks. They just jumped on the couch and turned on the TV. They didn’t even unpack.
Teenage SDs overheard me telling SS7 to get ready so I could take him and BD3 to chuck E.Chesses. They got all smart with me about why I was treating SS7 so special. SS7 stuck up for me and said “ You guys ignored her you can’t even say hi if you want people to be nice you gotta be nice plus chuck e cheese is for little kids anyways”. I gave him a big hug. What a bright and sweet kid I wonder what happened to SDs. I asked SS7 where he learned that and he said at school they told him you treat people how you want to be treated. That is so right. DH got on SDs as well (for once) telling them that their brother is right.
I’m happy what a sweet kid. As soon as he is done taking a bath I’m taking him to chuck e cheeses. He deserves to have some fun.
