Grrrr! It is only Tuesday, and already my week is not going well. Woke up yesterday morning to find that we are out of gas for our heating unit. Court yesterday was a joke. We now must go back in three months for something that should've been finished yesterday. Also, DH and BM had apparently not talked about plans for skids this week. I've only reminded DH to check the holiday schedule 100 times. They discussed it yesterday. We thought we were getting them tomorrow night or Thursday morning. Nope! They come tonight. BM also wants us to bring them home a day early so she can spend time with them. Would be fine, except we'll be out of town visiting my family. I tried to talk to DH about it on the way home yesterday, telling him it would be better to wait til Wed night since he is working on Wed. He beat around the bush, then changed the subject. Low and behold, he calls tonight to say he's picking the kids up and mentioned something about me not wanting to get out tomorrow. Why? Because he assumed I would be watching the kids. Really?! Wow! Thanks for asking if I was ok with this plan. He said he...wait for it...doesn't want to tell BM no about getting the kids extra because he's afraid it will be brought up in court. To which I told him she can't if we're following the CO. Silly me. I thought we were past the whole allowing BM to change the schedule and expecting Optomistic to take care of the kids. It doesn't happen often, and hasn't in a very long time, which is why it is so maddening when it does happen. He knows better. I've already poured a glass of wine and may takea bubble bath tonight. Hmmm
