YSS stb 12 just got his first two day detention (that I know about) for blowing off his science and math homework. I see he's following in the footsteps of his older siblings and why shouldn't he when neither the BM nor Chef EVER made their kids do ANYTHING that they didn't WANT to do.

The note said that they had a CONFERENCE (the "talking to" TM) with YSS (and not the BM)

They CALLED the BM and left a VOICE MAIL message so obviously, because there was no note of BM being at the "conference" it wasn't a concern of hers.

And for those of you who want to know how Chef reacted, he didn't. And that is because I no longer bring these issues to his attention because it is:

1. fruitless. He polishes a turd and says stuff like "I didn't do well in school, either" or "I was suspended in school but I turned out just great."

2. dangerous. He then ruminates over the fact that his kids are growing up with NO parenting despite the whopping CS he pays every month which sadly doesn't ensure proper parenting--actually I've found it inversely proportional to actual CP BM parenting taking place. And of course, HE refuses to stand up to the (remarried--aka NOT single parent, but she claims permanent victim status ANYWAY) BM and be a parent as well. He then thinks about how well MY kids turned out being parented by me as a TRUE single parent with NO CS lining my coffers. And then he gets angry--misplacing his anger at, you guessed it, ME!
