Turned in all the paperwork for the downward mod. The old financial affidavit seemed to pass the clerk's sniff test. She went down the list checking for completeness.

She did question the health insurance part. I let her know that health insurance is being carried by the Behemoth BM due to the fact she works for NYS Child Protective and the skids are on her cadillac benefits (in so many words).

Chef doesn't have health insurance anymore for well over five years now. The skids (and the BM) used to be on Chef's insurance when he was working for a much larger company. He now works for a small business which is getting smaller by the week. He'd have to pay $200 a week for basic coverage for himself. Uhh after CS, NY taxes and his expenses, he'd be in negative territory.

She accepted the papers but I must say driving through the BM's home town that she's practically the MAYOR of, it was like skid central! Children were off the bus and walking home in gangs of portly, video-zombified, ADHD and anti-depressant guzzling, slow moving sloths; wearing hoodies and shorts; giving new meaning to the word "fattened calf." Alternatively they were dropped off in front of their mobile homes. No need for the short bus anymore since every kid seems to be some sort of "disordered" speshul sno-flake.

Many of the children actually resembled my gargantuan, junk food fed, HUGE for their age, errr I mean "athletic" skids. Gave me the creeps just driving through the BM's hometown with it's lack of zoning, homes in woeful disrepair and used furniture and trash flung out on the curb--especially this close to the end of the month. I'll need to take a long, hot shower when I get home!!
