I am so glad to find this site, I have been a step-mother for 8 years now, I am married to my first husband, he has 3 children from 2 other women prior to me, that we raise together and we have 3 biological children. Life in our household has been very difficult throughout the years and very rewarding as well. We live in a small town, so most know what goes on, I have always felt so alone in the way I feel and the many trials that I have had to go through as a step-parent. I work really hard at looking from all sides of a situation. I have so much to say, however, I will talk in small increments. I so look forward to hearing from other step-parents, Biologicals and just anyone for more insight. I am struggling and feel like there is just so much pain. :? So Thankyou to whoever created this site and thank you all ahead of time.

By the way, what do all of these abbreviations mean, is there somewhere I can go to learn the lingo?
