NCP Spring Break?
Hey. Quick question for the NCP stepmoms.
Do you get the skids for Spring Break every year? I'm in year 6 of marriage, and we've had them for 10 days EVERY Spring Break...hell or high water. I just found out that Spring Break this year coincides with a major event that I'm planning for our business...like, a 250-300 person premiere event. My DH scheduled the event...and he does the visitation schedule every year. But I know if I bring it up, he's going to think I'm being unreasonable and ridiculous.
Anyway. Just wondering what's common. We both work from home and never take Spring Break off. BM is a teacher and off work at the same time as the skids...so it seems like it would make a lot more sense for her to keep them then and for us to take longer in the summer.

In my state public school is
In my state public school is out for a week in February and a week in April. We never get SS for those weeks because we are working and BM's mother does not, so she watches him. We also have him every weekend normally and he lives about 45 mins away.

Hmmm. Well, we're not long-distance. We live 5-10 minutes from the skids and see them all the time.
I'll try to talk to DH about it. He tends to pile on in every area of his life...and never understands when I want to take on one thing at a time. It's always like...let's have kids and travel and put a major work deadline on the calendar all in the same week!!

I don't have the CO, but I've been thinking about going to family court to request a copy. I looked online and in my state the spouse of either party is entitled to a copy...thinking about getting it to see what it says about taxes.
DH just doesn't care about stuff like that. He'd rather just let BM claim all three every year than argue about it. Problem is, it affects me too.

I'm confused by your last comment? Biting your lip? So do most NCPs get EVERY Spring Break or not?
For the record, so far in six years of marriage, we've had every Spring Break, every Fall Break, every Thanksgiving in addition to EOWE plus 12 days at Christmas and 12 days in the summer.
