Dear Valued Users,
It's with a heavy heart that we announce the permanent closure of StepTalk.org on August 31st, 2025.
This decision wasn't an easy one. For over twenty years, StepTalk has been a source of support for stepparents around the world! However, over the years, the costs associated with maintaining and upgrading the site to remain secure, meet current standards and maintain availability have become unsustainable.
We are incredibly grateful for your support, contributions and the community you've helped us build. Your engagement has made StepTalk.org a special place and we cherish the memories and connections made here.
We would especially like to thank Aniki for volunteering to be a moderator and for caring so much.
Thank you for being a part of our journey and we wish you all the best.
Sincerely,
Dawn and The StepTalk Team

Ours are split as well &
Ours are split as well & frankly until the skids are adults, I don't see it changing!!! I refuse to buy an 8 yr old an adult meal at a restaraunt, that he will only pick at & won't eat!! Fine by me if DH wants to buy the 3 skids adult pricy meals-- but he'll-- I ain't gonna pay for it. The list is endless right now on Daddy's frivolous spending. It's sad really. DH is gonna be broke soon ( we r on Vaca right now).
DH wants to give SD16 $1000
DH wants to give SD16 $1000 bucks for a graduation present next May. I'm not interested in giving that amount. I'll throw in a couple hundred but it's nice to know that I don't have to if I don't want to.
