Will she or won't she? Place your bets!!

DH and I are heading out to MedusaTown tonight for the hearing tomorrow. To recap, she filed a request to have her child support lowered back in September. Awesome Attorney sent out discovery requests to her since she opened the door and since I learned that she has recently opened a resale shop in MedusaTown.

She lied to the FOC Support Specialist when she asked her about MedusaStore. We provided proof, but FOC chick just took Medusa's word for it. Sigh. Around Christmas, we received the results and FOC was recommending that her support be lowered approximately $400 per month. We objected AND filed a motion to compel on the outstanding discovery requests. We set a hearing in front of the Judge, but we just learned yesterday that it was removed to the Referee. I am irritated about that, but it is what it is.

So - will Medusa show up to the hearing tomorrow? Will she have representation, or will she not to further her "pity poor me I am so broke" bullshit storyline?

I am not sure that she knows it has been moved. We only found out because Perfect Paralegal called the Judge's chambers to confirm. THAT'S how we found out it had been removed. Otherwise, we would have learned of the change tomorrow morning when we checked in.

I am guessing that Medusa still believes it is in front of the Judge.

Yep - my prediction is she

Yep - my prediction is she shows up claiming that she never got the discovery (we had her personally served at her STORE, you know, the one that doesn't exist), then she will say that she "just hired" or "needs to hire" an attorney.

I think Referee will issue an order to produce, which she will ignore, OR she will not produce anything relevant and we will have to take depositions of her business partners.
