child support question
My h sends a check every month for child support. Last year the BM went to the court and wanted more child support. all they did was send us paper work to fill out showing what we made for the year. We did pretty well,,,, then. Now we have made SOO MUCH LESS.
Can I call the courts and have paperwork sent out to my H and BM to be filled out so we can show that we are making so much LESS. and get our CS lowered.
I have a feeling that everyone is going to tell me to get a lawyer.
Im so glad that loser BM can would into the courts and tell them that my H "is making so much more money" sign her name and it's all done.

The group that stood out to me was the American Pro Se Association, in that it sounds like they can provide reasonably-priced legal help.
He can also check out this website, because at the top of the page there's a part where he can find a lawyer in your state (or BM's, if she lives out of state).

Your DH should also go to the courts and provide them with paperwork proving you guys are making less this year. The judge can use this paperwork in making their decision about the amount of child support you should be paying.
In MN
You can get the paperwork online or from the courts to request a review. If indeed, a change it warrented it will be done. I think, here anyway, it has to be something like 20% plus 50 dollers up or down for the court to order a change. I have done it on my own several times and won each time. If the county takes the support or the support is sent to an agency that sends it on to BM then you can send them a letter requesting a review and they will send you the paperwork. In MN, it has to be at least 2 years since your last order for it to go up.
Same in WI
You can call CS agency that is local and fill out the paperwork. They do a review and send out that paperwork. It took nearly 5 months for us to get it reviewed (that how long it takes to review and get all the paperwork signed--by BM BF and judge) but it does happen. Look in your yellow pages for CS and they will have a number where you can find out.

yeah I had a feeling the state would get there half on this when it's not there half to have.The crazy thing is my H will do nothing on this. He will just sit back and take it. I feel like he is so scared of BM.
