WHY?
Don’t you hate it when you get home and the skid is there when they were not supposed to be there? ARRRGGG. I look forward to non kid/skid evenings. DH and I have a few drinks, sit outside, talk and relax.
I always know what my kids are doing and when. They know when they have to work and go to school. SS NEVER knows! And if you ask him and he says he knows, then there is only a 50/50 chance of that being true.
Last night, my DD had school, (college) my DS had to work and I was told by SS that he had to work. YAY for me and DH!!! A night for just us!! I get home, DH is the only one there!! YAY again. He is out on the back deck. I go change into shorts and a T-shirt, and go to join him and I hear a car pull up. WTH??!! SS is home. WHY, WHY, WHY!!?
He walks in and I ask him…
ME…I though you had to work?
SS…Me too! But I didn’t.
My night was not ruined, but I was sooo disappointed and irritated. The kid does this crap ALL the time. I don’t even know why I get excited any more. At almost 18 he should be able to keep up with his own damn schedule by now!!!

Ok, I am trying to recover
Ok, I am trying to recover from my jealousy that you are able to change into shorts and a t-shirt....... Brrr I put on flannel pjs!
Yes, that is annoying. You should schedule a date night and tell him if he doesn't have to work that he will need to find something to do.
