Yay for me...for now.
My SS has been gone for 3 days so far and will not be back for about 5 more days. This is only the third time he has been away from the house and the longest he has been away since he moved in a year ago. OMG…it has been heaven!!!!
I don’t have to hide out in my own house. I don’t have to listen to lie after lie after lie. I don’t have watch my DH be a big wuss. No BM issues. I have a full fridge and coke and it will stay that way for a few days. I forgot it could be like this!!! I actually love my house and my life right now!! I remember when I used to feel this way!! It was a little over a year ago.
I am already starting to panic about him coming back. Let me be a warning to some of you who think you are safe because the skid lives with BM and you think they will NEVER leave BM’s side. HA. I did not live with or move in with my DH for 10 years...so when SS turned 16 and moved away with BM, I thought I was safe. I was wrong.
At least I only have ½ year to go, but I am still wondering if I can even make that much time. Lol. j/k. So you all be aware, it can happen at anytime. I ALWAYS knew there was a chance, but did not think it was EVER a possibility. I love my DH with all my heart, but if I really thought his son would move in with us right after we married, I would have kept on waiting until SS was in college or military.
But anywho…yay for me for 5 more days of relaxing in my own home!!!

Thank goodness!!! But to be honest…at this point…I would pay out half my income for SS to move back to his mothers. That is really no joke. Lol.
No CS is worth this.

*Yay* for you indeed!!! I was
*Yay* for you indeed!!!
I was starting to feel a little selfish about being so happy that the boys are with their mom through New Years (it’s our longest stretch in over a year too… I was a little scared about DH moping around the whole time but he’s been surprisingly giddy about the “days off” too! It’s almost like a second honeymoon!!!) but what the hell! ENJOY THE PEACE!!!
*laughs*Though I had a funny *sike* moment yesterday… it was the first full day that the boys woke up at heir mom’s house on what was going to be a full week with her and guess what?!? Our part of North Carolina got hit with the biggest snow fall in YEARS and a car hit a telle-pole outside of Mother Russia’s house knocking out the power all damn day! She called around 4pm saying “come get children… is too cold in house… no heat, no power.” And I thought of course there is no heat or power… thought you had some time off? Sike! The first night of my week off was spent with two grumpy kids ripped away from their new toys and over spoiling at their mothers! I was convinced that the power situation was going to go on for days… luckily it’s all back and running this morning so when I get home from work “second honeymoon” is back on!!! *woo-hoo!*
Enjoy it Willow… here’s to praying for the power at your BM’s house!!!
