It begins...
OSD (will be 11 in a couple weeks) stole some of my nail polish. Why she felt the need to take it and hide it in their dresser, when I leave all of it under the sink in 'their' bathroom for anyone to use, I don't know. Why she needed to stake claim on seven bottles, I don't know. I made dh 'deal' with it. I am sure he will make her give me some forced half assed apology next time I have to see her. I don't want to hear it.
Needless to say, nail polish is now tucked away in my bathroom. I told dh they have lost any privilege to ANY of my things. I now wonder what else has disappeared to their mothers house? I knew this crap would eventually start, but a few weeks shy of 11? I thought I still had a year or two before I had to worry about this kind of crap.

My SD16 stole some of my perfume that a friend of mine gave me for Christmas. When I found it in her room and asked about it, she told me she "found" it in the bathroom. Funny because I leave it on my dresser.
Her response when dh asked
Her response when dh asked her why she did it was, of course, 'I don't know'.
Ugh.

I HATE that. I even tell my students that if they don't know why they did something they can sit and read a book until they remember. Because I don't know isn't an answer to "Why would you hit/bite/throw/ect.?". My son just gets the hairy eyeball and some sort of rude/sarcastic thing said back to him - then he gives me a real answer.
