Dear Valued Users,

It's with a heavy heart that we announce the permanent closure of StepTalk.org on August 31st, 2025.

This decision wasn't an easy one. For over twenty years, StepTalk has been a source of support for stepparents around the world! However, over the years, the costs associated with maintaining and upgrading the site to remain secure, meet current standards and maintain availability have become unsustainable.

We are incredibly grateful for your support, contributions and the community you've helped us build. Your engagement has made StepTalk.org a special place and we cherish the memories and connections made here.

We would especially like to thank Aniki for volunteering to be a moderator and for caring so much.

Today is court day for us!

I'm really antsy & nervous this morning. I've never had to go to court before. I've been IN the court here because I work for the Sheriff's Dept. & go over there occasionally. Our deputies work there, too, so it's all connected. ANYWAY...in about an hour my husband will meet me here at work & we'll be heading over. Can't wait to get this over with already!!! Wish us luck!

the best piece of advice I can give u is make sure u smile and look confident and supportive of DH...oh...and make sure BM sees that u know so many SO's over there.... Good Luck!!!....I'm rooting for u!
