Darn it! You're killing my zen about how other adults act. Funny if you read your article and then read my blog. Good article, though.
Yes it is very interesting. I
Yes it is very interesting. I have often wondered why my BF daughter seems to have no conscience much of the time... granted this child is raised with little to no discipline and has absolutely no boundaries but I'm not sure that that really has to do with conscience but I don't really know. I've noticed she has absolutely no bond with her mother who she was with up until 2 1/2 years ago when BF and BM split up. She has no bond with her half siblings either. She acts if she could care less if they existed or not. The only time she wants to be with them is when she gets bored and can't find anyone else. I've never seen anything like that...perhaps when a parent is not in a child's life from a very young age they wouldn't have much of a bond but I wouldn't think it would be that way if someone was a part of your life for 8 years..it very strange. She is more "I like you if you give me stuff, if you don't I have no use for you"
This sounds ridiculous and
This sounds ridiculous and BM's family is crazy BUT BM's Mom said she saw something in SS around age 2 "that wasn't right". DH said that he and BM stopped talking to her for about a year because she said that. I think BM's Mom was on to something. BUT I also think with the lack of discipline and lack of parents being around, it has really messed SS up.
