OT: SCORE! Got great deals on a suit and flower girl dress!

We're getting married next summer, and I've been on the lookout for great deals. I bought a 3-piece suit for SS3 from someone on Craigslist for $5 and a flower girl dress at a second hand store for $15!!! I am amazed! Both skids have tried them on and they have plenty of room to grow.

So this means I can go buy the wedding dress that I want that is $1000 rather than the $750 one...right? }:)

I would say so.... after all, you deserve to make some allowances for yourself once in a while.

Great job on the bargain hunting! I say buy whatever dress you love -- I managed to find mine for $75!! Yes, it was new, just at an outlet not a "bridal store"!

I'm the queen of second hand store and such. LOVE LOVE a bargain. I have found all kinds of great things, I was told by one shop owner I have a great eye for things. I have found new things for like a dollar! I also have been known to hide things for birthdays and christmas and such that I buy at places like that new with the tags and everything.

I'd say go for it and if you can find even more things like that for your day it just mean more splurges on the things you really want. Wink
