Most unusual birthday present ever?

Okay, fellow s-talkers, today is my birthday. Always happy to have another one! Soooo much better than the alternatives.
But guess what DH got me? A ladies model police special!!!!!! YES!!!!!!!!!!! A HANDGUN!!!!!!!! I had to laugh! I told him, "honey, knowing how I feel about your new son-in-law (and his kids), you thought a gun would be a good idea? I think there may be a "domestic situation" in my future!"
Since I love jewelry and anything sparkly, do you all think it would be okay to use the bedazzler on it?

I know, right??? As a matter of fact, he HAS bought me a nice fishing rod as well as a bowling ball. What can I say? He's a hopeless romantic!

How weird...several friends

How weird...several friends have asked me if they're pink too! Actually, I love to fish and we actually do go bowling together so I'm teasing really. He's bought me some beautiful jewelry too.

Don't be surprised when you get your Crimson Trace sights for your anniversary! My hubby WAS going to get me the laser sights for our last anniversary but knows how much I love sparkly things (diamonds that is) and I got an anniversary band instead of the laser sights. Seriously..... he was gonna get me sights for the handgun I got for my birthday :). LOL
Must be some weird jewelry/weapon-love connection.

Just hang a charm off of the hammer and go shoot something. If you are going to bling out the 38 beyond a charm I would go have it gold plated and add some damask scroll work set with pave' diamonds.

You might as well make the gun presentable to your StepSon-IL before you shoot him. And you will feel so much better if you look good while doing it.

Happy Birthday!

On my last b-day (in November) my hubby gave me a 12gauge lever action shotgun. It is a reproduction, not an original. Why did he give that to me? Because he knew that I wanted one. The Christmas before last, he gave me a Winchester Lever action .44mag. Last June I bought myself a Kimber Ultra Carry .45 with night sights. One of the things hubby and I have in common is our love of guns and hunting. The only time my hubby won't give me a gun as a present is for a make up present. He says that he is not comfortable giving me a gun after an argument. LOL At least he's not stupid. LOL
