Well, GG met up with Brainiac (SS14) and the school facilitator. Apparently Brainiac has all these pipe dreams about becoming a rock star, so therefore, no need to earn good grades in anything other than band!!!

Brainiac is failing almost all of his subjects; except for the "fru fru" ones. He's being teased/called names at school due to the clothes he wears and hairstyles he choses. He's also been trying to institute "National Ginger Day" at his school which is, by all accounts, being rejected wholeheartedly by his classmates.

GG is convinced that Brainiac is "alternate lifestyle" like GG's very own brother, Uncle Kinky. Although trying to act like he doesn't have a problem with that, well. . .he's not a very good actor. Brainiac explained away his uncooperative attitude in Gym by saying that the gym teacher is no example and that her "fat ass couldn't do ONE pushup." (Editor's note: can you say ADULT SPOUSAL STATUS)

GG explained that it is none of his business about what the gym teacher can and cannot do but he is there to go to class, learn and do the best he can. The facilitator was pleased with this reasonable answer from GG and was shocked that GG didn't have horns and a vipercated tail the way the Behemoth and clan pictures him! (Editor's note: GG only wears his horns and tail with me)

Brainiac was of course disappointed with his father's answer and then went on to say that he can play several Jimmi Hendrix licks on the guitar, so therefore, that PROVES that he has the talent to "make it" (Editor's note. . .wonder where he gets THIS idea from. . .can it be the Queen of Fantasy and Pipe Dreams, Princess Behemoth herself?? oh and BTW, good ol' Auteur can also play a few Jimmi Hendrix licks on the guitar but I haven't sold my first CD yet!! )

GG had to mention that Awesomeson was living with us and used him as an "example" to Brainiac. "Awesomeson went off on his own at 17 but fell flat on his face five years later"
UMMM Awesomeson was WORKING TWO JOBS and going to college when he got laid off. If GG thinks thats comparable to his lazy ass "angels" then I beg to differ!!!

GG explained that everyone has fantasies of doing the thing they love, but often that is not what pays the bills. Another let down for Brainiac. Then Brainiac asked GG if he was racist. GG explained that there are just as many people of other cultures in the world who hate caucasians as the other way around. The faciliator agreed with this as well (although massively politically incorrect) Brainiac also mentioned that the Behemoth is putting Prince Hygiene on ADHD meds. . .no surprise there!! GG was not happy with it but he was the one that set that precedent to allow the Behemoth to make decisions without consulting him.

Brainiac then recalled a few "good" stories that he had heard about his dad before he was born (Editor's note: the "remember when" stories that get dragged out; i'm SURE the younger two will do this constantly once reunited) Brainiac also related that they did some work on their house (hired other people to do the work) and GG was gloating heavily about this to me. I said "of course they hired others. . .they can AFFORD to; the Snuffleupagus makes good money." GG was all about "he wouldn't know HOW to do the work if he COULDN'T afford it." Well that's why he went to school, got the degrees and makes the money that he does! DUH!! Yeah it's nice to know how to do that sort of work, but what good is it if you bring home $200 a week after CS?? Of course GG will never "get" that part of it. :sick:

Brainiac then remarked that he would "make a song" about this meeting! GG remarked to me that Brainiac and "this generation" has become completely "American Idolized" and think that they all have a chance at fame and fortune. Sadly that is a disservice to the youth of Western culture.

Brainiac said he wanted to get a summer job (he's only 14 but looks 18) and of course ridiculous GG offered to take him along to work with him!! So I"m thinking GG will pay half of his salary (less than minimum wage after CS is taken out) to Brainiac for just showing up??!!! And what about the insurance liability? No way would I have a giant 14 year old clutz (sorry; all three are as uncoordinated and the opposite of the word "grace" as the day is long) on HVAC jobs if I were the owner of that small company!!!

GG gave Brainiac his work cell number and his email address. Brainiac did not reciprocate.

Later that day when talking to me, GG called Brainiac a "15 year old punk" I notice how GG accelerates the ages of people he doesn't care for, yet rolls back the clock for his two youngest hellions!!! He often under guesses Venus De Milo (SD12) and Prince Hygiene (SS eight) ages!!

I told GG that it's better that Brainiac be upfront about his feelings than placate him and do the opposite (hint hint, sucking up and placating is EXACTLY what the REAL problem children, VD and PH will do. . .and GG will FALL for it every time!)

I also mentioned that Brainiac is just young and naive and will soon find out on his own that life is tough and not a star studded walk up hollywood and vine. GG said that "everybody loves Brainiac in school" and once again that he is a "good kid." I gave GG that Brainiac is a friendly type and outgoing. That's as far as I could give him. The younger two, however are HORRORS and of course GG is setting up a meeting with VD's real counselor.
