This is what I want to say to DH right now.
Wait a minute! You are buying $100 worth of fireworks right now just because your son wants them? Let him buy them! He has money. Did you forget now that the kid has had over $1000 Christmas (at 9 years old none hte less) that we don't have enough money for rent or food? Yes rent. you know that thing we have to pay every month that I told you not to spend. I also informed you that I don't get paid as much sicne I have hte insurance that you told me to get. My paycheck is now cut in half. Also, if you recall you are off of work. So my paycheck is it. I don't make enough now to cover the damn rent plus food. Any food! So do not ask me why the hell I am crying if I've told you we were too broke to afford it!
