BM is an idiot!

So, DH and I go and pick up SS4 this morning. When BM arrives (late) to the drop off site, I notice she has a puppy in her car with the kids.

On more than 1 occasion, I have found fleas crawling on SS. And the idiot goes and gets another dog! WTF? You can't take proper care of the two kids you have or the other animals that have to be in that house, and you go and get another! Grr... well, the next time I see fleas, I will be calling CPS yet again. And, I will now be calling animal control as well. If the fleas are so bad they are on SS, the poor dog will be miserable.

On another note, while we were in the car with SS, he was working on his whistle. He then said "Daddy, my whistle sounds like Rudolph's nose." Ha... kids are so cute.

Don't you just love stupid BM's- have had this happen several times to us as well. Even found a tick on SS3- was 1 1/2 at that time- BM she never goes outside with him and lives in downtown- she claims it was from walking to the car- which I don't believe at all- SS had to get rabies shots bc a "bat" in her old house bit him. Just crazy stuff. Wish as SM's we could just run away forever with our SKids and be happy w/o BM.

Cherish the cute little moments like that though- they are the only things that get me through the days sometimes.

Had the same issue, BM's home was infested with fleas, and she told us she couldn't get rid of them. I was so upset afraid the skids were going to pack them to my home, before they were allowed to come inside my home, they had to strip down, clothes were then thrown in the washer, along with anything they brought with them, and skids were to go straight to the bathtub. A few months ago, BM got another dog, and the youngest skid has had ticks. I don't know how these people can live like this.

Not fleas in my house it is lice. My SD has had them 4 times this year. My DH acts like it is not a big deal. I have spent gobbs of money to prevent my kids from getting them but BM and DH have either said they don't know or that it came from our house. Seriously, if they came from our house then other people in our house would have them too. Guess what. My kids have never had them. At the end of the week I send her home, lice and egg free only to have her return a few weeks later with them again. I am fed up with it and my MIL is too and turned her into CPS.

I hate it when he comes over with fleas. I am like crack for them, i immediatly get bitten and the bites get infected. And I know they come from SS because DH and I have no pets and there is no carpet for them to live in, except for a few throw rugs. I spray the throw rugs down with raid for fleas and vacuum it up right away.

That being said, we are moving in two weeks, and the new place has wall to wall carpet. I am so upset now! I will have to go and buy several bottles of raid for fleas and just stock up for the summer. I HATE IT! There is no excuse for it other then she is too lazy to take the dogs to the vet and get the flea treatment.

At least I am not the only one going through this. I am so happy that he hasn't come here with lice, but I have a feeling it is just a matter of time. At that point, I will pay whatever I need to at the ER or something, so that I have it documented, then I will call CPS and report it, and fax them a copy of the report.
