so irritated with ss16
Sat we went to second hand stores to get clothes for the boys for our trip b\c yuck thinks that 4 pairs of shorts is plenty. So ss16 didnt want anything unless it was Nike's i told him we were not buying anything like that unless it was at second hand store for the same price as what we are spending on the others. Needless to say he only got 1 pair of shorts and swim trunks and a few shirts. I told him that he has to do his own laundry. I cant stand kids that think they are too good for anything unless it is a certain brand. :sick:

That is insane. Nike isnt even the best brand out there. That kid is nuts and in for a HUGE wake up call when he is on his own.

I remember when I joined the Air Force and I had to start buying everything on my own. I quit using Proactive it was insane $30 a month for face wash. Wow...Not to mention I dont know the last time I made the choice to by an item of clothing that was not on sale. Growing up sucks.

He has a job and has money. I can tell you that dh will not give him money for that but of course we are giving them spending money so he can take it out of that or his own money . It was his choice to not get any more clothes so his choice to spend his money on laundry.
I agree and i have gotten
I agree and i have gotten some great clothes and shoes that i could never afford at second hand stores. I got ss15 an abercrombie out fit including flip flops. Ss12 got a cool american eagle outfit that he was super excited about. That is just a few things but ss16 nope could see past the label.

He is but he only has 3 pairs at home. That is why we bought more so they would have plenty. But ss16 only wanted nike stuff.
