So...since this is a venting site, I mostly post when I'm frustrated.

Just wanted to say that my DH took this morning to do something really kind for me. 

I have a new book out, and I'm speaking at a conference for 1000+ people this weekend. I've had so much on my plate between work and helping DH try to launch his business and family stuff that I haven't really been able to focus on my reading/talk much and have done nothing to promote it. I had my brother's wedding this weekend and lost all of Friday and yesterday due to travel/being exhausted...and have to catch up work Tues-Thurs. because I fly out for the conference at 7 am Friday... 

This morning before I left for work, DH asked me to send him the book jacket photo and all the cover graphics as well as the Word doc version (it's an ebook) and he set up all my social for me, posted past videos of my talk as well as excerpts from the book, posted the Amazon link, connected it to my blog, and has created postcards for me to pass out at the conference...all I have to do is pick them up at the printer on my way home. 

I'm sitting here at my desk feeling like crying tears of relief that I don't have to think about any of this stuff this week and can just focus on my talk...

No, it doesn't make up for all the stephell nonsense...but it feels good to know that he notices what I need and is willing to help, especially as he's so much better at that technical stuff than I am. I think he spent about 3-4 hours designing and creating everything for me this morning...probably would have taken me 7 or 8 hours...and it wouldn't have looked as good.
