SHE GOT THEM DRUNK FOR CHRISTMAS
I am ready to KILL Loca right now! I just found out she got the skids drunk for Christmas! :jawdrop:
Some background: This was the first year in nearly 4 years all the skids were going to go see her for the holiday, and at the same time. PITA 18 is really trying to make things better with her, and he insisted his brother and sister go with him to see her for the holiday. But due to other plans with our family, they were going to go DEcember 26. No problem; all great; one day thing... Loca is all happy, thanking me for giving her the best present ever, yada, yada, yada. "How can I ever repay you for this joy you have given me?!" Blah, blah, blah...
So a few days before the holiday; mmm maybe about 8 days, she texts and asks if they could come the night before; her brother coming in from outta state; nephew home from boot camp. My first instict is NO; we have plans to be with my parents that night. But I realize this time it isn't really up to me- PITA planned this, he wants to try to work things out with her. I text him, explain; he texts back "i know she's crazy, but she is my mom and it's Christmas; Can we go the night before? REALLY LATE."
Loghead and I talk it over; we don't want kids driving late on Christmas Night, so he says he'll leave my parents' house that night and take them to meet up with her husband and a convenient meeting spot. I know I'll miss out on Christmas night with my husband and skids, but they were just gonna get up early and leave the next morning anyway. So we make arrangements to meet up with her 9 pm Christmas Night.
Christmas with family; cards; games; fun; nice visit- everyone getting ready for bed anyway, he takes skids and leaves. (Our BS Gibby 11 and I were staying there a few extra days.) He takes the skids and Other Son 18- the boys' friend that has been living with us since September. They all meet up with Loca's husband and Loghead goes on home. They stay at her house, Christmas with her on the 26th and home late that night due to basketball tournament on the 27th. End of story, right?
WRONG
Princess tells me yesterday that shortly after arriving to Loca's house on Christmas Night, Loca realizes she needed something from the store, so she convinces Other Son to go with her. She buys alcohol at the gas station. Oops- forgot her wallet; takes Other Son's Christmas money my parents gave him to pay for it- promises to pay him back; she never did.
Long story short- Princess, being in college, has a few and goes to hang out with a cousin at the house, not thinking the boys will really drink anything; under age, pretty straight-laced. (No alcohol in our house; our families are not big drinkers) Comes back, realizes Loca and Other Son 18, PITA 18 and Lazy Boye 17 are wasted. She goes and wakes up Loca's husband (I call him Gullible) and makes him put an end to it. Gullible is furious and saddened this happened.
On 26th- PITA is so hung over, he spend most of the day puking; as did lazy Boye. Princess was concerned it didn't phase Other Son, but he comes from a family different from ours.
Gullible was so angry, he actually brought skids back home much sooner than planned that afternoon... Princess and Other Son felt SO BAD about it, they did immediately talk to Loghead about it. Princess said he was ready to call cops; go kill her; etc.
She was surprised Loghead hadn't told me. She said she knew I didn't know because of a few conversations she and I had had about Loca Grande in the last few weeks...
My thoughts-
1. I'm never bending over to help that woman again!
2. How sad is it to let that be your Christmas memory- "The night I got my kids drunk and they puked."
3. Too bad they are too old for Family Services to get involved...
4. I can't wait to sit on this information and use it against her in some way.
5. A little pissed at Loghead for not telling me... He said he didn't need to add my anger to his or he might truly go harm her!
6. Proud of Princess for getting Gullible involved and telling us...
Really, I am truly sickened by this. Sad for her; and this doesn't even seem like something one could blame on her mental illness...
