SS not wearing underwear
Are DH and I being stupid? SS8 doesn't want to wear underwear sometimes. When he is with us he knows he needs to but there are times when he sneaks not wearing them. He came home last weekend from BM's house not wearing any underwear. He picked out Hanes boxer briefs at Walmart for his underwear not instead of the character tighty whiteys. We feel kids should be wearing underwear. Once he gets into high school I guess whatever but before that we think they should be worn. AND definitely not left at BM's house.

My ds went thru a phase in which he did not wear underwear with his basketball shorts and such. He was probably 10 ish. Now at 13 he always wears underwear, changing in gym class and such took care of that issue

I don't mean that in a snotty way, but seriously. The kid wants to go commando. Why does it bother you?
Psh, I say let the kid swing free.

Besides, when he starts having to change in the locker room, things'll probably change.

Pick your battles. What is it hurting, really? And I agree with above posters - if he does go commando for now I'm sure once he's changing for gym class regularly he'll change his ways.

Okay - as this is pretty anonymous I can post this.
My DH does not wear underwear unless he has on a suit (or a tux).
But when a doctor gave him a med that ended up causing acute diarrhea he regretted that choice!
