The skids are leaving for summer visitation with mil for the summer tomorrow. My mom wanted to see them before they left so she moved her vacation to see us up by a few weeks. She flew in yesterday.

Dh in his infinite wisdom go the skids early from school and took them to step mils house for her to say good bye to them. She was to spend a bit of time with them while sil straightened SDS hair and have them to my mom (at our house) by 4. I got a call at 2pm as dh was leaving for work telling me all this.....this was not the plan.

I get home at 6 from work....no skids. I call dh and tell him. He calls step mil and she says she will bring them over in a few minutes because they are finishing up dinner.

Seven still no kids.... I call no answer. I text....no reply. I call dh again at 8 and tell him still no skids. He call and she picks right up. Those skids didn't come home until 845. Their flight leaves at 4am tomorrow. So my mom flew down here and spent a grand total of one hour with the skids on Wed night before bed, since they spend 7 hours with step mil and sil today.

So I'm feeling horrible for my mom, and dh could care less. Says that getting SD hair straightened was more important than my moms visit. Then when they finally come home sil walks them to the door and I slammed it in her face. Then ss11 started back talking when I told them to go get ready for bed, and I snapped on him. So now my mom is pissed at me. Says I am horrible that I didn't even ask him about his 5th grade graduation thing. Well maybe I would ha e had he friggin been home at any point before it was after bedtime. Maybe I would have had he not ran his mouth that he was entitled to stay up until 9 since he didn't have school the next day.

I am just so tired of this bullshit.
