So when last I left off with BM and her stupidity, DH’s attorney had told hers that DH was willing to bring the kids to see her in PRISON 3 times a year. Her birthday, December 26, and the day before mother’s day (that way DH can spend mother’s day with HIS mother).

BM’s attorney countered with since she completed all of her classes as ordered by the court she wanted to begin supervised visitation and DH needed to bring them up EOWE to see her – visiting slots are 90 minutes long, its literally 303 miles from our front door to the prison grounds. Yes, she wanted us to drive 606 miles round trip, so she could see the skids for 90 minutes, in PRISON.

Our reply was penned by me, showing that she was responsible for ALL Costs of supervised visitation and the schedule she was requesting would require a nanny (as DH and I would not be available), rental car, food money, hotel room, gas, etc and once BM got these costs pre-paid: we would be ‘happy’ to facilitate her supervised visits.

Well BM has been transferred to her new home. Has tried calling twice and we have not accepted the collect calls (no, I am not paying $7.56 a MINUTE for you to talk to the kids) as currently the RO is still in place that she cannot talk to them. Her attorney called ours to complain that we were not facilitating a positive relationship, our attorney reminded him it was HIS obligation to file with the court so that BM was able to call the kids. Until we had a court order stating it was ok for SUPERVISED calls… they would not happen.

Our BM is a special kind of stupid. She is in Prison, can’t work and is tens of thousands behind in CS: And we got served last night. Instead of filing to drop the RO… her attorney filed for a modification of custody. Yes, BM is trying to fight for full custody while IN custody.

I really hope for her sake that her attorney just filed the wrong paper/ checked the wrong box, because if not, I am sooo going to have a field day with this!
