Do you think a guy expects to have sex if he invites you on a weekend getaway?

Yes, but you don't have to have sex. If you don't want to have sex then personally I would make that very clear before you even leave, but beware he will probably still try it on. If you decide to go, take condoms whatever you are planning or not planning on doing, always best to be prepared just in case.

Expectation doesn't equal obligation. I'd tell him how you feel about it right now, whether it's yes, no or maybe but also let him know you have the right to change your mind at any point on this trip.
