The dentist won't take BMs money?????

SD tells DSO last nite that she needs to have sealant put on 6 teeth and its $32 a tooth. So I had to call about Gson so I ask about this. The insurance won't cover those 6 teeth as its optional. We discuss the financials, her parents need to decide etc. I txt DSO with the info. I txt Stupid and say I have made the financial arrangements you can schedule appt.

BM txts DSO and tells him 'The dentist refused her money and he needs to get a check to her by next Monday.

OMFG. Does she even understand how fucking stupid she is. So instead of sending a check, I will just give them a check to hold when I take Gson tomorrow.

I guess even the dentist feels bad for a poor single mother that doesn't even have custody of her own kids....saying sarcastically.

I txted STupid back and told her I will prepay and she says to do as I want.

If I could do that, I wouldn't even know about this shit.

1. NO direct payments to the BM. EVER Get the bill and send it directly to the care provider. Chef made the HUGE mistake of "trusting" the BM and ended up paying double his share--she paid nothing.

2. I call BullShite on the "dentist won't accept my payment." That's like saying a LAWYER won't except my money. No way!!

3. I can't STAND anyone who plays the "single mom card." Makes my stomach turn. I was a TRUE single mom. Never lived with a guy before marriage until now. Never received CS. When anyone tries to play the "single mom card" I don't bite. Any one who plays this card on any craigslist ad of mine will NOT be getting a return call.

Yep and agree with it all. I'm a widow and had 2 teens when my DH died. I was a true single Mother.

I will have the dentist/money issue handled tomorrow. I have know this dentist since high school, so IDK who Stupid thinks she is fooling.

I completely agree. I was a single mom, no child support or anything. Drs, dentists, therapists and daycare all gladly took my money.

Please advise stupid that

1) Your card getting declined is NOT the dentist refusing to take your money.

2) the dentist refusing to take a check from you, because you have bounced checks on him previously, is not the dentist refusing to take your money.

3) that your paying HALF.. and she best bring the dentist her HALF in CASH.

I guess BM felt it made her look better to DSO LOL.

I'm glad BM has taken over all dentist and medical appts but at least be a woman and say...I can't afford this, will you do it.

I also made sure to text Your Welcome to her after not getting a thanks.

Text her back, "Had the same problem when tried to give dentist MY money! I wonder who the dentist wants to pay? I guess we will find out when the bill gets sent."

We pay for everything, bio mother pays for nothing-no school, medical bills, etc.
My husband thought he was getting off easy being able to keep the kids and in his words, "she would never pay anything anyway and I would always be going after her for her half and the bills would be in my name and my credit and reputation would be on the line, so why not just accept it."

My husband says she bragged about the divorce papers afterwards that he is on the hook for all bills. But she never once fought to take the kids full time...so my husband says it was worth it...smooth divorce because she thought she was taking him to the cleaners when all he wanted was to keep the kids.
