Dear Valued Users,
It's with a heavy heart that we announce the permanent closure of StepTalk.org on August 31st, 2025.
This decision wasn't an easy one. For over twenty years, StepTalk has been a source of support for stepparents around the world! However, over the years, the costs associated with maintaining and upgrading the site to remain secure, meet current standards and maintain availability have become unsustainable.
We are incredibly grateful for your support, contributions and the community you've helped us build. Your engagement has made StepTalk.org a special place and we cherish the memories and connections made here.
We would especially like to thank Aniki for volunteering to be a moderator and for caring so much.
Thank you for being a part of our journey and we wish you all the best.
Sincerely,
Dawn and The StepTalk Team

I think I have watched too many soap-operas. I expected something to happen to stop this blessed event. I'm so glad the air is clearing in WOB-land!

You should just termite tent his room only lol. Think of all the circus jokes you could make if that was possible!

Nice. My husband wants to get one of those, I'm digging my feet in because I know it won't be long at all before SS14 memorizes the code or is told it. Same goes with the burglar alarm. DH told me SS won't be given any codes or keys but I've read too many stories on Stalk to feel secure.
Bed rest is making me paranoid if I wasn't already losing it before!

Yep - and the stench is out of the room, too.
Turns out when you remove the stinky kid, his stinky clothes and his stinky belongings, the smell goes away. Who knew?? LOL!
He got home very late last
He got home very late last night and left on a business trip at 5:00 am this morning, so I haven't had the opportunity to discuss it with him yet.
He was very bummed on Sunday morning, telling me that this was so not the way he thought he would feel when his firstborn graduated from high school.
They had two plus hours together in the car - I am somewhat curious as to what, if anything, they discussed.

haven't seen him - he got home late and I was asleep and then he got up very early this morning to head to the airport, and I was still asleep.
I think BV and KK will blame me for "sending" ASS away.
They both wanted to go with DH to MedusaTown to drop ASS off, but there wasn't room for them in my Jeep and so they pouted all night once they got home from the graduation and dinner with DH's parents.
I was just like *blink blink* and poured myself a big tall glass of wine and then texted you - LOL!!
May you have many ASS-less
May you have many ASS-less years ahead of you
I can't imagine I would know
I can't imagine I would know about those things - the days of me giving that little effer even one moment of my time are OVER!!!
Of course, if DH happens to mention anything to me, I will be sure to post it for you all
There's still two more skids at home, you know. I am guessing I will be hearing about ASS, ASSuming they keep in touch with him.
