I can deal with sad. The graphic-ness of the scene? Hell no. I loathe that kind of stuff. This is one of DH's favorite shows. I follow along, but I can barely look at the freaking zombies without getting all weirded out. I'd much rather read a recap of the show than actually WATCH the ickiness of it all. :?
Yeah I covered my eyes. Same with the zombie stuff it grosses me out. Then to process what it looked like, to actual characters that I really loved, like my 2 favorite characters. Ugh!
I have an extremely vivid imagination. I can READ something and picture it in my head like it is actually happening. So watching graphic gore and horror is absolutely awful for me. I honestly cannot watch or read anything gory several hours before I go to bed or I will have night terrors.
Admittedly, I 'watch' TWD without glasses, with eyes crossed, from my peripheral, through the slits between my fingers, or while reading a book (and not looking at the TV).
Yea, SD11 came downstairs and sat down to watch the episode with us (she's never watched a full episode before, only seen bits here and there). Before it started I asked DH "you're going to let her watch this?" and he said yes. After the first killing I got up and left the room, DH came in a few minutes later, I told him I couldn't sit and watch with SD11 anymore, I thought it was totally inappropriate for her to be watching. He said he stopped it once the second killing started, said he didn't realize how graphic it would be. I was like, how did you not know? You know how graphic the show is in general, and you knew that this episode someone would be getting beaten to death with a damn bat wrapped in barbed wire!!!!
It was very graphic to watch. Did they really need to do all that? (Not that I would expect anything different). Definitely heartbroken. I loved the final words of the victims. Damn Jeffrey Morgan, he plays Negan so well. He makes the Governor look like an innocent school girl. LOL.
Sorry you feel this way about the show. I totally get it though. There are a couple of shows that I used to LOVE and their season started back up and I just haven't gotten around to watching the episodes. I'm like Meh. And I too wondered, like WTH how did I go from being so invested in the show to not even caring anymore? Ha ha.
I think the huge social media presence that TWD has, has kind of killed that vibe of it being so fresh and original and special.

Even knowing who the two
Even knowing who the two victims (since season seven started filming) were, didn't make last evening any easier.
I am looking forward to Shiva.
Knowing what was about to
Knowing what was about to happen for Abe, and then there was like a pause, ugh, enough time for him process that he was about to get messed up.
I had a hard time looking at Glen. That eye though. :O

I could not get Glen's eyeball out of my head all last night. I am pretty sure I dreamed about it falling out.
I don't watch TWD, too
I don't watch TWD, too graphic for me but I'm glad it wasn't Darryl. Norman reedus is way hot and I love the merch.
