Record low CS payment from Medusa

DH is out of the country this week. He just sent me a text telling me that he got a CS payment and then sent a whole bunch of eye rolls and laughing kitty cats....

The amount? 11/07/2016 Electronic Funds Transfer $259.96

last month he got what had been the previous low record, but she has now set a new low!!

Her monthly CS order? $977.50 per the income withholding order.

Her arrears? $8,564.25

I went grocery shopping this past Sunday. I spent $201.67. Whatever will we do with the extra $58.29??

Does she choose how much to send? Why couldn't she add on 4 more cents to at least make it a round number? I don't understand.

the income withholding order states that she is to pay the full amount each month. It's withheld from her "wages" so she reduced her hours and went to straight commission as her income. Michigan law states that an employer cannot withhold more than 50% of one's paycheck.

She knows exactly how much she owes and she also knows how to cheat the system so that DH gets as little as possible. What she doesn't know is that DH and will spend every penny that comes our way AFTER the last skid ages out on OURSELVES!!!

This plus you can't make anyones check negative. The insurance comes out, then CS, then garnishments (in the order you recieved them) then everything else.

we never got notified that her refunds were being seized, but DH got two payments back in September, on consecutive days, one for for $600 and one for $1730 or something like that .

When I looked at the online portal, both of those were applied to her arrearage and since they were enve amounts of the pattern of the way she gets paid, DH and I assume that her refunds were diverted to the state to go toward her arrearage.

yeah - she had over $2300 taken from refunds applied to her arrearage and she is STILL a little under 8K.

She "works" for the company she sold MedusaBusinessProducts to, but she is a commission only employee now and she doesn't work a whole lot of hours. Why, you ask? Because she is too busy working over at MedusaUsedShitStore, the business she opened up with a buddy of hers.

I talked all about that last fall when we she was trying to have her support reduced.

One of the problems with being "self employed" is that she gets to control what she reports as income on her 1040.

DH is in Ireland until tomorrow so I don't even have to share!!!
