Advocacy Groups
Forums:
Does anyone know if there are any advocacy groups in Arizona or even nationwide that actually understand and assist parents when the other parent is just completely out of control? BM's harassment has reached epic proportions and even with an order of protection she is still doing things like calling 911 from the parking lot of the police station where the exchanges take place to allege that he looked at her wrong! Come on....there has to be help out there somewhere.
Domestic Violence?
Is the order of protection against her? In my state we have a supervised exchange program where the parents never have to see each other. They meet at the courthouse 15 minutes apart and a trained volunteer (with security) transfers the child to the other parent. It's all done through CASA which is a nationwide project. Maybe start there?
Hope this helps.

Yes the order is against
Yes the order is against her. We have filed for the exchanges to take place at a supervised location. However, we are also asking that she pay for it since she is the one who attacked us. She is refusing. Waiting for a formal order so she will either pay or be held in contempt. Does the craziness ever stop?
Maybe it would be worth it?
Just to pay for it and then request that she reimburse you. It may never happen, but I found that my personal sanity is far more valuable than any amount of money.
In situations like this, the less contact the better.
And yes, the craziness can stop. Three years ago I was in a similar situation and BM has tapered off. New day, new problems but it is definitely not like it used to be.
