PAS questions....curious.

I've only been around ST for a short time, but I've seen some of you talking about PAS. I've read enough to know what the acronym stands for, but is there a degree of severity in someone's actions for it to actually be considered PAS? Also, are there any legal repercussions for committing PAS? My bio saw a "tweet" of SD21, referencing a text conversation that my SO and SK's BM had last week. SD16 responded to it, revealing that she also knew details of this conversation between her parents. It just doesn't seem right. When my ex and I have disagreements about the kids, that is between he and I. I would never show or read them messages like that, or even talk to them about their father if we were arguing.

There is another SD, 14, that I'm sure is privy to these conversations, too. It just turns my stomach. I want to slap BM. ugh!

Ehhh...I think that may be true in a lot of cases, but I seriously doubt that SDs will EVER see that their mother is wrong. My SO is nothing more than an ATM to them, and they get their sense of entitlement directly from her.
