Excellent book series for teaching kids morals

I remembered a book series of 29 books the other day that i had when i was a child. It's called "Help me be good" by Joy Berry. They have a book about lying, being rude, being destructive, tattling, being selfish, complaining, teasing, disobeying, etc. I remember it having a very big impact on my personal views and morals as a child and i think with alot of the things i've read on here about their bkids and skids and how the newer generations aren't being taught these things these books could be easier than yelling all the time and more comprehensible for the children, and might give us a little hope for the future. Just thought i would share Smile

then i took over once i started reading. They are also REALLY well written for beginning readers if i recall correctly. It's actually better to have the parent's read them with the kiddos because they see that Mom and Dad feel this way and this is how they want you to act. You can discuss and answer questions throughout/after as well.

My parents read Joy’s books to me when I was a kid. I liked them then and wanted to have them with my own kids. I only found used copies and incomplete series until a friend turned me on to her new website http://www.joyberrybooks.com. I just purchased the Teach Me About series for my kids and can’t wait to read the books to them.
