CPS-related question
Forums:
Does anyone know if there is a way to contact CPS to ask if a report has been made? In the early days of her insanity, BM told DH that she had called CPS to report him but no one ever came to investigate. I know we can safely assume that if no investigation = no report made, but we would like to find this out for our paper trail that will hopefully one day come in handy in proving NPD-infested BM's pattern of instability when she does what we think she's going to do eventually. Thank you!
Ooh, Foxie, I hadn't thought
Ooh, Foxie, I hadn't thought of that. You're right. I guess it's safer to just go with the assumption that she if she had called, they would have come (and found out that her call was unfounded anyway). Thank you!!
I use to work closely with
I use to work closely with CPS/DCF earlier in my career (I worked with adults and children who were mentally disabled.) So I got to learn the "ropes" so to speak with how they work. TRUST ME, if there was indeed a call made, they would have contacted your DH or you IMMEDIATELY to investigate. It could possibly be that BM is telling you she contacted them or even if she did, they found no reason to investigate. If BM is calling and making false allegations or reports she can and will be in big trouble.
