Isn't this site great? I've been married for 15 years and have a 24 SD from hell that finally has moved out. I needed this site years ago but still find it helpful today. Again welcome.

Yes welcome...to life as you know it now to be on that emotional rollercoaster at least once a week!! Heheh. But the best thing since I found this site is that all the ladies here have either been in the exact same situation or just know how you feel. And sometimes someone just knowing how you feel and not arguing with you or giving a bias opinion is exactly what you need. I know I do, it's where I run when I have nowhere else to turn. I am sure you have some helpful advice to give, with 3 of them!!

You're among understanding friends. You'll get lots of feedback here. My advice is to take what you can use and run with hit, file away that which you think may be helpful later and ignore any comments that seem to attack you personally. This is a great bunch of girls (and guys) and they have pulled me down off my ledge many times.

I am pretty confident in saying that whatever you have been or will go through, at least ONE of us has BEEN THERE, DONE THAT in some way, shape or form. I can say that my blood pressure is back down to ALMOST normal since finding this site, to which I actually found while trying to figure out what to do about MY OWN STEP MONSTER! You have found a home with all od us!

I said the same thing as you when I discovered this site as well. It has been helpful with many issues I have had to deal with myself. It's always nice to know that there is support from others that have, had & will go through similar situations.... good & bad. Venting is normal... & that's why we're here, so don't be shy!!!!

Hi....Yes, thank Goodness for this site. I can never ever vent to any friends or relatives who aren't in a stepfamily. They cannot even remotely come close to understanding the situation or the emotions being in one evokes at times. These gals & a few boys, are my chosen family and I do feel like I can successfully stay married if I just listen and like suggested above...take what you need for strength from these posts, leave the rest...and be happy!!
