I just watched this movie called 'daddy's perfect little girl.'
The little girl in the movie reminds me of SD!
She literally will fake being sick, fake pains, fake being sad to get her way/ too get attention. Over exaggerates EVERYTHING that happens. Manipulates EVERYONE and EVERYTHING to get her way/to get attention.
At least the girl in the movie had a bit of a reason... her bio fam was crazy and murderous, then when she was adopted by a nice family the adoptive mother died. All that trauma made her crazy, and she was afraid to lose her adoptive dad... SD is just crazy for no reason.
I do not have much empathy for toxic people. Regardless of what
they may have experienced. At some level, that includes kids. Sure, kids test boundaries, most periodically lie to avoid a consequence, etc...
However, their behaviors, are their own choice. Background does not justify or excuse toxic choices.

I agree, it doesn't excuse it, not in the least, but i can understand where it stemmed from. Still need correction, in the movie the girl ended up in a psychiatric facility.
All I'm saying is sd doesn't even have a reason to act like this. Nobody has left her, nobody (until her grandfather) had passed away. Nobody HASN'T rooted her her to succeed in life (i may dispise her, but i want her to succeed so that she can stay far away and not need anything from us).
