It's been a while since I have been on here! Haven't seen my ss10 since Jan 4th and only have talked to him a couple of times. ON VALENTINE'S DAY it all starts over.....yes Valentine's Day! Woke up to hearing my dh's work cell phone ringing at 5:45am and who is it??? The SS....I didn't even know he had his dad's cell because he has never called him....He usually calls my cell when he wants something.....what is the first thing I hear my husband say...yeah son I know you want a toy......the ONLY reason he called was to see if we got him a toy for Valentine's day....Just really drives me nuts. He thinks that his brothers dad is his dad too and doesnt even care about us most of the time unless he gets bored or just wants something. Am I wrong for feeling so much anxiety about seeing him? He really isn't a bad kid, he is just really spoiled and used to getting everything he wants.....he eats like a horse just because he wants to and complains about mine and dh's bd1. We're going to see my dh's mom this weekend and my ss bm is more than happy to drop him off there even before we get there. My ss lives 4 hours away from us and so does my dh mom. They live fairly close to each other. Anyways I really just want to alone time with my dh, bd1 and my dh mom. Not the whole time because I do want to see my ss too but it seems like the whole time he is there he is bored....loud and wants ALL the attention which doesn't leave much room for relaxing and spending time with my dh's mom. How do I handle this situation??? I know we hardly see my ss so it is important for us to see him but it would just be nice to not have the hassle of it all just for a little while, while visiting. Should I talk to my dh or should I just let it go and deal?
