So pissed off at "DH" right now!!!! Vent!
Youngest SS12 keeps getting bullied on after school while waiting for his school bus. This is the third time in 2 weeks and makes me so MAD!!!! So, today I called the school when I heard about it. DH was napping so I called them and left them a message letting them know that this was going on and left them DH's number to call back on. Well, I told "DH" this and he lost it!!!!! He started yelling at me for calling and leaving his number! WTF?!?!? This is the LAST time I try to do anything for those kids! I hate DH more than words can say right now! He's a useless asshole that just leaves things to take care of themselves! What parent lets their kid continue to get picked on without saying/doing anything about it?!? Oh, that's right, DH!!!! I am done! I do not care anymore! It's not the kids fault! It's DH's!
That's what I figured! I
That's what I figured! I mean, who am I?!? What freaking authority do I have?!? I give up! Those poor kids are stuck with loser parents and if I try to help them any way that DH didn't authorize first, I'm a bitch! I'm such a bitch for caring! And he wonders why I hate this whole step crap!!! Fml. I'm so happy I work at both my jobs this weekend.
Agreed. Poor kid. I'm
Agreed. Poor kid. I'm disengaging and told him that I was. It's sad for his kids but I don't need to put up with this crap!
I agree that it's upsetting
I agree that it's upsetting and it's wrong for your SS to be bullied and I understand that you wanted to do something about it, BUT if you were going to do something about it, you should have discussed it with your DH first or left your own number for them to call back.
I would be pissed if my husband called anybody with any beef and then left my number and dumped it in my lap, without talking to me about it first.
I do think it's great that you care that much about your SS, so please don't take me wrong!
Thanks you! I understand what
Thanks you! I understand what you are saying. I guess I reacted right away because my blood was boiling when ss12 told me they threw his backpack in the trash and spit on it! Then pushed him. It's not right and I'm not going to stand by and let it happen! Once DH calmed down, I told him why I did it and he apologized. He just woke up and got all that dumped on him! Still no excuse to throw that big of a mantrum!
I get it, I am quick to react
I get it, I am quick to react when I'm pissed, too. I have to do something about it that.very.minute.
Hahaha! Oh, DH knows he's in
Hahaha! Oh, DH knows he's in the dog house! But, he did come home with wine and flowers so he's slowly getting back on my good side.
No. Good thought though. I
No. Good thought though. I hear DH tell him to stick up for himself, and he does, but it shouldn't come down to that.
He was probably pissed
He was probably pissed because now he has to step up to the plate and DO something..My H avoids conflict at all costs and would rather ignore uncomfortable situations. Such wusses.
My W is the same. Goes to
My W is the same. Goes to great lengths to avoid conflict and confrontation. No one likes it, but it's necessary. And kids will gladly use whatever tactic that successfully gets them what they want.
