Wondering if anyone knows the answer to my question---about parent coordinator

I have two stepsons that I love very much. I also have a child with my husband, their father. The BM is really a loon to say the least (I mean the woman threatened me 2 days in a row when I was less than 10 days to be giving birth to my son, and in front of her own children! And after I called the cops.). She has a final restraining order aginst my husband (apparently not to hard to get if your a perpetual good liar and your family works for the court system)and is pushing to get a parent coordinator. I am opposed to this only because monetarily we cannot afford it, and she runs to our now attornys every two minutes like she is going to the chair as is. We really can not have a never ending bill, we can't even afford housing. My question is if she gets her way, which I am sure she will, can I also be part of these parent coordinator meetings since not only will I have to foot the bill out of my own paycheck because all of his money goes to child support as is, and also because it will be making decisions in my and our son together's life as well?

I mean if she ever gets remarried, I wouldn't think it fair to her new husband not to have a say in his life either. And nevermind I love those boys and treat them like they are my own, but she needs to be reasonable sometimes!!!!

Feeling Hopeless

We had to ask the courts to grant us one bc my hubby's ex is so difficult. If the woman you are dealing with is not being a good parent, it might be worth getting one but don't let her find the PC! Do the research and find one. Some may even do sliding scale. Sorry to tell you but in my case the PC only wants the bio parent involved. Not sparents. I am fine w that!

DH and BM have a parenting coordinator and this woman is a disaster. She tends to work with clients of BM's lawyer quite a bit and communicates with the lawyer in addition to the parents. She charges 400 dollars an hour. But, when she writes emails, she does not use proper punctuation and uses "u" for you. I feel like if you are charging 400 an hour you should use real words. Be very wary of parenting coordinators. When BM decided SD10 needed neuropsych testing, PC insisted upon using a particular psychologist who does not take our insurance. When we argued and suggested using people at a well known medical center, the PC insisted upon "vetting" the people there. Ignoring the fact that they have an actual ADHD center there (BM was worried about ADHD in SD, I actually agree), she decided to focus on the physicians at that place. Now, physicians do not do neuropsych testing. The PC submitted to the courts that we should not use any of the services at Well Known Medical Center. She had "vetted" the doctors there and stated that Dr. X had almost killed a patient and is not well versed in ADHD. She documented that this doctor is a "toe walking specialist." (Specializing in kids who walk on their toes- sometimes people with neuromuscular diseases do this). Now, several things are wrong with this. First, she charged 400 dollars an hour for her services and is about the slowest reader/ writer ever. This took 8 hours. Secondly, physicians do not do neuropsych testing. Third, there is no such thing as a toe walking specialist. This is not a known fellowship. Then, she documented that he "almost killed a patient." So, where on eath did she find that info? I found out- I did a google search and found an anonymous forum where someone claimed Dr. X "almost killed my son." This forum also stated that he is a toe walking specialist. I know Dr. X well and he is a headache specialist, he does not see kids with ADHD, he does not do neuropsych testing, and he stated that the PC could have taking about 10 minutes to vet him by looking at his website.

This woman is nuts. She is expensive, incompetent, and she has vested interests.
