The work week (for lots of people is almost half over, making this Hump Day!!! (Psssst... why do they call it Hump Day when most people get nooky on the weekends?).

Spring means an increase of outdoor activities and increased exposure to sunlight on your hair (your head is closer to the sun - lol!). There are good, bad, and ugly effects of sun on your hair.

GOOD
Vitamin D is good for your hair. Your hair needs it to help prevent hair loss, amongst other things. So soak some up!

I wanted to share some inspirational quotes. Please share yours!!

Sometimes you have to be Beauty AND the Beast.

A Real Woman doesn't follow the crowd. She is Herself.

Women who seek to be equal with men lack ambition.

Find a woman with a brain. They all have vaginas.

There is no force more powerful than a woman determined to rise.

You can waste your life drawing lines, or you can live your life crossing them.

Be-YOU-tiful

Welcome to Wednesday! Half a day to go and we'll be on the downhill slide to Friday. Woo hoo!

What do you wear when you want to feel good? I mean GOOD, as in "I'm wearing my sassy pants today and they make my butt look spectacular, so I FEEL good". Is it a certain hairdo? Do you build your outfit around an accessory, like a necklace or pair of shoes?

My mood is typically reflected in my shoes. If I want to feel sassy and confident, it's stilletto time. Don't mess with me - a kickass pair of Harley's.

Happy Hump Day! At the halfway point of the day, we'll be on the downhill slide into the weekend. Woo hoo!!

Who else suffers from dry skin on their face? Aside from the oily T-zone, that is!

I have sensitive skin and have wasted waaaaaaay too much money on products that fail to work for me. The latest? Witch hazel. Yes, that's right. Witch hazel. A mild, natural, alcohol-free astringent is drying out my skin and making it flakier. WTH?!

So. What's the best way to gently slough off the skin flakes without making my sensitive skin more irritated??
