lots of advice please!!!

I have a ten year old step son who has bowel movements in his pants, denies it, cleans his self up then just goes about his business, his mom has mental issues ( bi polar ) is this a sign or symptom? Dad keeps talking to him but really hasn't done much else. There is no complaints of stomachaches, just does it. By the way the 16 year old step daughter will pee her pants because she doesn't want to stop what she is doing and the 6 year old stepson won't wipe his self after because dad will do it. I am at a loss on how to react to these situations because my children have never acted this way!!! I just don't know what to do.

I know what you say is true, and I try really hard not to interfere and let them handle things it just grates my nerves because sometimes I feel like they really are doing it just to be brats, espically the 16 year old and the little ones are just following her lead...I do want to be in their lives but sometimes I just don't know if I can deal with it all, they are spoiled and selfish I talk to dad but he will step up to the plate for a day then it is right back to square one because it is easier, the mom says it is all my fault because they {she} doesn't think that dad should be in a relationship so soon?!!! {it has been 3 years!!!}
