They say bad things come in 3s, but today, good things have come in 3s!  Actually 4s!

First, my boss gave me amazing seats to the 76ers (Basketball NBA) for tonight.  Normally I would have to take a client, but since it is such short notice I am taking DH.  It even has a parking pass for the VIP reserved lot!

Second, I GOT A PROMOTION!  I've gone up one job grade and a new more senior title, a $7,000 annual pay raise, and a $5,000 increase in my target annual bonus.  Overall, a 9% increase in my take home pay.  It will probably be around $200 a month after taxes, but having an unemployed DH, that is A TON!

Third, DH got a call back from the bank!  They want to try and get him in for an in-person interview TOMORROW!  They are just confirming the two managers they want him to meet are available, if not he will be going in on Friday.

And FOURTH , since it's been such a good day, I just found out my bonus numbers, which will be paid in 2 days.  I was funded at 125% of my target bonus.  I was expecting to be around 105% since I killed it this year (even through all the stress of my crappy life).  However, my boss said he had some extra money in the pot and threw extra my way since I'm by far the hardest working person on the team. 

I could just cry.  It's so rare these days I get good news.  DH and I leave for Iceland on Sunday.  I surprised him with tickets for Christmas.  And before any naysayers start complaining, I'm using my bonus to pay for it and it's super cheap....$300 each round trip flights and the AirBNBs we are staying at for the 3 nights are $100 each.  All in Trip should be less than $1,200 (less than 10% of my bonus) and WE NEED IT.  DH has dreamed of Iceland for photography for years and he cried when I gave it to him for Christmas.  And I work my BUTT off, traveling all the time, teaching, underwriting, etc, I deserve a break!  I will NOT be putting any money I make into the pot for child support, no way no how.
