Dear Valued Users,
It's with a heavy heart that we announce the permanent closure of StepTalk.org on August 31st, 2025.
This decision wasn't an easy one. For over twenty years, StepTalk has been a source of support for stepparents around the world! However, over the years, the costs associated with maintaining and upgrading the site to remain secure, meet current standards and maintain availability have become unsustainable.
We are incredibly grateful for your support, contributions and the community you've helped us build. Your engagement has made StepTalk.org a special place and we cherish the memories and connections made here.
We would especially like to thank Aniki for volunteering to be a moderator and for caring so much.
Thank you for being a part of our journey and we wish you all the best.
Sincerely,
Dawn and The StepTalk Team

Not typical of your average
Not typical of your average child - just your SD or others that want to shit all over their own doorstep.
Bioless here
But my experience with kids mainly has been with my ex SD. Disrespectful to daddio and their home. By shitting on this territory shows who they are.
The next time you chew gum around SD take it out of your mouth and stick it on her back pack or whatever. JK but gawd that would be funny.
Sounds like extra gross to me
SD15 Backstabber/Munchkin would never in a million years do that.
SD22 Feral Forger, well she would sleep in her own puke and period blood. Her room always smelled really funky and when we cleaned it out, it was full of trash and moldy fast food bags and coffee mugs with tea and coffee...dirty laundry.
Ya, no not normal
Ill bred
Children.
There is a reason why when I
There is a reason why when I was at highschool chewing gum was banned....not sure if schools still ban it. But some kids do disgusting stuff and stick gum places. The mature ones know that is rude to leave messes for others to sit in or clear up. The unempathetic but wise ones to do it in places where they can't be caught. It seems your sd is neither mature, empathetic nor wise.
So it is normal that some kids will do it in my mind. That does not make it acceptable though and it should definately be addressed. If it were my SD, she would be made to clear it up herself and be issued with a warning of more severe consequenses should a similar situation happen in the future.
