Former step children turned against you

Has anyone gone through a divorce where the bio parent turns the stepkids against the stepparent to ensure there would never be communication again? I raised her for almost 5 years so this is especially hurtful.

I mean, are you sure you want to remain in contact? I read your blogs and both your stbx and ex SD sound awful. I know, for me, after a breakup i get sappy and remember the good times. But - reread your blogs. Letting them both go might be best for you and everyone.

I understand that in an ideal world, everything would be peachy, BUT, you said previously that SD and BM had treated you badly resulting in PTSD. Let it go and be happy!!!!

My 2nd marriage had a SS involved. I was as happy to be rid of him as I was his abusive father.

Cutting ties and having a clear line is important! Don't worry about what they think or feel. It is important that you only focus your healing and moving forward.
