So, it's all my fault that she feel they are not close still. She told him I am the reason she moved out--as if he nor I didn't know that. And that it wasn't about the dogs nor the cat litter nor the car but that I am rude to her in general and her guest. I have to say he stuck up for me for once that I am aware of!!!! He told her that she has become hateful and that she should be ashamed but he knew she was not. And he told her that she was making a big deal out of nothing and that he would meet her later in town then for a movie after he picked me up. So, after trying to accommodate her again...she told him no that she wasn't going to wait for him to pick me up, and she shouldn't have to share him on the only few days she gets him. He did something I never thought he would do....he told her to have a nice life and that he loved her,, but she was being selfish and he was tired of it and that I never spoke badly about her in his presence like she always does even though he has asked her not to. I told him I was surprised he did that...and shouldn't have. She told him after he said that, great you just found a new wife and lost a daughter. Said she would come get the rest of her stuff out of her bedroom and her dog. I told him she would calm down and he would calm down and they would work it out.
Which they did 2 days later. Never heard the details though. And She did come get the rest of her stuff (still has stuff around though) from her bedroom and her dog. But the dog only lasted 3 hours and we had him back cause grandma's dogs were attacking her dog.
So, They had another 'date' night twice since then. Don't ask me how I found out........but she has gone balistic on him 2 other times since. the first one was about how she hates me, doesn't trust me, and doesn't want me to be at her wedding, doesn't want me to be a part of her children's lives (knew she would do that!!) and does she only get to see him twice a year and at holidays, and what about her children do they get to know thier grandpa....will he be there for birthdays etc....and she doesn't know how things are going to work and that she doesn't know how to fix things between them. And on and on....blah blah blah. he told her that he nothing will come between him and his grandchildren and he would never let anything happen to them, and he didn't know how to fix things either and that he's made mistakes that he has to live with now. And that he had some big decisions he needed to make soon. And for the most part he was happy.
Ok....that floored me. What decisions? I'm stumped. Only thing he should be deciding is our wedding date. And I did talk to him about stalling our wedding plans. he doesn't know why he is. Ok???? He tells me he's happy..he tells me I'm not a mistake, nor that he regrets anything. So.....he's either feeding me or his daughter full of crap. Which is it? Time will tell.
Then there is the fact that I'm repainting the house and moving stuff around....how we want it. He asked her if 'he' could paint a shelf that is hers in the livingroom. Of course.....she went balistic. he said he was hanging pictures differently and painting so that the place was homier. Well, I painted....I was the one moving things around...but no....he's not going to tell her that. She went balistic aobut pictures. That it's 'her' house now, and his family and she was done. And that if I didn't want their past pictures on the wall, she would take them and put them with the others. and she wanted him to bring her her mother's wedding dress so she could take care of it. blah blah blah blah... he told her she was again making something out of nothing. And she asked him if his big decisions he had to make were about her. he didn't answer her on that one though.
I know the man is torn, but she is the one doing this to him, and it's not going to stop.
I actually...think I need to go see a counselor....or therapist. Cause I'm not sure about anything anymore....maybe I am a bitch on a stick????? If I am then she is the Devil's spawn. LOL!
