As Father’s Day is coming up.

So today I went out and bought the rest of the stuff from me and my DD. So we could do a little thing by ourselves tonight so that SD  wouldn't feel left out because I had a sign made with daddy and my daughters name on it I know a bad description. So MIL calls him today after we already did stuff and said " you need to include SD in whatever I had planned for him" cuz she's not doing anything for him from SD. I already did what I was going to do. But his MIL thinking that I need to include SD in EVERYTHING is pissing me off I have every right to include her in certain things but I can spend time with just my DD and SO. I just can't stand it. Yes I know that it's Father's Day but she isn't my child so I am not obligated to provide something for him from her. I am just obligated to make sure she showers and looks clean and nicely dressed and fed obviously.

So let me get this right - your MIL called DH and told him YOU had to do this that and the other for Father's Day?   If I have that correct - that is just wrong on so many levels!  What is it with MILs - why are so many of them so inappropriately controlling?  I have been no contact with mine for the past 2 yrs and 2 months and what a relief that is.  tog redux is right - you have no obligation to provide any care at all for your SD.

Yes she called him and said to include SD in whatever I am doing for Father's Day. Very inappropriate. I don't know what's wrong with them, very frustrating. I just want to freak out on her so many times lol

She just called to be a b*tch to you via your DH delivering her offensive, pointless message.

Ugh I am sorry you have that miserable creature in your life trying to steal your energy.
